Here are a few ways you can support your veteran before, after, and during their flight day:

Invite

Invite the veteran to visit the school prior to or after their flight to share their story

Share

Share your veterans service information provided by your Operation Education contact

Send

Write mail call to be delivered to the veteran’s home so they receive it after their flight

Decorate

With permission, decorate the veteran’s yard, driveway, street to welcome them home

Follow

Follow the veteran throughout their day of honor through Honor Flight Chicago and social media

Cheer On

Bring some students and parents to attend the Welcome Home at Midway to greet the veteran
