The DuPage Veterans Foundation will host its annual fundraiser benefitting Honor Flight Chicago on May 4, 2019. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The DuPage Airport’s Calamos Investments Hangar, located at 2700 International Drive in West Chicago.
The mission of the DuPage Veterans Foundation is to raise enough money to fund an entire flight for Honor Flight Chicago to fly senior war veterans to Washington, D.C. for a day of honor and thanks.
The 2019 fundraiser will include:
- Live music
- Period military vehicles
- Aircraft
- A patriotic program
- Bagpipers
- Vintage military uniforms
- Other Memorabilia
Lunch will be available, and a silent auction will also be held.
World War II and Korean War era veterans receive complimentary admission to the event. Adult tickets are $30 if ordered in advance and $40 at the door. Children’s tickets are $20.
Ticket prices include lunch, entertainment, all featured events and, most importantly, the opportunity to thank senior war veterans in person.
