If you are taking taxable distributions from your IRA and are over 70 ½, here’s a way to support Honor Flight Chicago and save some tax dollars!

The money you donate to Honor Flight Chicago directly from your IRA will not be taxed to you. If you were to take the same amount from your IRA and then make a donation, you would pay tax, and may not get a deduction for your donation.
